Now that it’s starting to warm up, I find myself wanting to hit Starbucks to cool down with iced coffee drinks and Frappe’s. The problem is, those drinks are loaded with fat and sugar and you could end up consuming about the same amount of calories as you would in a meal— in one drink!
I’m not about that. And I’m a believer that I can have the best of both worlds! And that’s why we whipped up this Mint Mocha Frappe. Now, I can have my iced coffee fix, without wrecking my calorie and macronutrient intake for the day.
We used fresh mint leaves which not only makes this drink super refreshing, it also helps to promote digestion and soothe your stomach. We also used Mocha IdealRaw Protein powder, to get that delicious coffee flavor and a boost of protein.
So next time you crave an iced coffee full of sugar and fat you don’t need, whip this up. You won’t regret it!
Ingredients for our Frappe
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop Mocha Idealraw
- 5 mint leaves
- 3/4 cup ice
Mint Mocha Frappe – Refreshing Drink
- Serves: 1
- Blend all the ingredients together until frothy and smooth. If desired, top with sugar free cool whip. Enjoy!!
