Do you find yourself absolutely starving around 2 or 3 in the afternoon? I call those the after-lunch blues. I get super tired and at that point, it’s either a nap or a snack. Naps are great and all, but I can’t just curl up under my desk at work and zonk out! So, snacks it is.

I try really hard to find snacks that aren’t going to make me bloated if I eat buckets, and I think I found my new favorite. Mocha. Glazed. Almonds. Yum. Gosh, I could pop these babies all day. Bonus, they are seriously SO easy to make.

Any kind of nut is already my fav (we’re a little nutty over here) but there is something about that Mocha flavor that makes these almonds straight-up addictive. The BEST part is, this recipe has 8 grams of protein in one serving!! These keep me full and guilt-free.

I like to make up a big batch of these Mocha Glazed Almonds at the beginning of the week and then bring a bunch to keep at work. It makes for super easy, protein-filled snacking.

Mocha Glazed Almonds

  • Serves: 4
  • Yield: 4 cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Heat honey in a pan over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and add Mocha IdealRaw. Whisk until combined.
  3. Pour over almonds and mix until all almonds are coated.
  4. Spread onto parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes (flipping halfway through). Allow to cool and enjoy!

  • 1 c raw almonds
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 scoop of IdealRaw Mocha Protein
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
